ECO FRIENDLY LINE

In recent years the market has been increasingly focusing on the search for ecological recycled materials that follow a line of circular economy and sustainability. Giardini strongly believes in respect for the environment, for this reason, it pursues these objectives through the Eco Friendly range, items obtained through low environmental impact production processes, without the use of solvents and harmful substances. Giardini has introduced increasingly modern abatement systems, designed to reduce emissions to the atmosphere as much as possible and has significantly reduced the energy waste of water, electricity and gas by improving and renovating the systems, thus making the machinery modern and efficient. Backing made from recycled raw materials from recycled and / or vegetable nature are used. The items in the range are coated fabrics suitable for both leather goods and footwear uppers and reflect the standard collection items, with natural, laminated or patent leather aspects.  

SOLVENT FREE

The products of the Solvent Free range are made without use of solvents. For the safety of the environment, avoiding the use of these substances, using only water based polyurethanes, allows to have a low environmental impact in the production process and subsequently in disposal. Beyond REACH: the products in this range far exceed the already strict requirements established by the European regulation, guaranteeing a safe and high quality product.  

DMF LESS

DMF LESS products were made using a very low quantity of DMF (<200 ppm). For the safety of the environment, limiting the use of DMF, using where possible water based products allows to have a low environmental impact in the production process and a reduced presence of harmful substances.

RECYCLED MATERIAL

Some products of the Eco Friendly line, in addition to being made without use of solvents, also have a high percentage of recycled fibers, such as vegetable fibers deriving from bamboo, polyester or nylon objects.  

BIO POLYURETHANES

The polyurethane used in these articles comes, in part, from renewable plant sources (pineapple, corn, rapeseed, castor, etc). Through bio polyurethanes raw materials are used which are regenerated by nature itself, without definitively destroying precious and scarce resources.
